100% Grenache (early 1970s, 2012) from 90% basalt soils at Lussas, 10% from clay-limestone soils at Mirabel, 50-80% destemmed, 8-10 day vinification, with 20% fermented by maceration carbonique, steel vat raised 6 months, unfined, unfiltered, zero added SO2, 8,500-10,000 b

2019

(vat, bottling May 2020) bright red colour; red berries, licorice lead an alert bouquet. The palate gives a good stream of vibrant red fruits, notes of tannin and their powder crunch. The fruit is really well installed and flowing, drinks very well. This has promise. “2019 isn’t a macération carbonique vintage,” Manu Cunin. To 2025 or so Feb 2020

2018

red robe; blackberry, elderberry fruit aroma with good clarity in them, and a quiet floral presence on the nose. The attack is grippy, gives a red fruit gums flavour, with supple, but also nicely firmly underpinned tannins. It ends roundly, spiced, compact. It's rather solid wine, a sound do. 9,500 b. 2022-23 Feb 2019
