2017

bright red; a nicely curvy bouquet leads on red berries, raspberry, with a gently sweet, liqueur inclination, undertones of menthol. After one hour, it becomes smoky and volcanic, airs of embers. The palate is well-fruited on the attack, springs out well, the fruit tasty with a little cluster of rocky, smoky tannin on the finish. The length is sound – red cherry fruits/sweets in its firm close. This drinks well in a pleasing, natural, naked manner, has good poise. There’s a little Vin Nature fizziness. It has character, isn’t mainstream. 13.5°. 2023-24 Oct 2020
