bright, pale yellow; the bouquet has creamy aroma, airs of ripe white fruits, peaches, vanilla, damp cardboard. The palate is wholesome, well furnished with ripe content, is plump and solid into the nutty finish. It’s very much geared to la table, with Vieille France cuisine such as sweetbreads, pieds et paquets suitable, or a truffled scrambled eggs. The palate is more open than the nose, but given the two traditional local varieties, that isn’t surprising. 13.5°. 2023 Oct 2020

yellow robe with a pear skin hue. The nose is reserved, very much in traditional white Rhône variety of Grenache blanc-Clairette mode. It has gone to sleep. There’s a mild crushed white fruits air, and a solid depth that will serve it well. The palate is also well lined with close-knit, compact content, on white fruits, plum flavours, dried fruits, pears. A touch of citrus-tangerine provides a steady close. Decant this if drinking now. I’d almost wait for a second stage, say from mid-late 2019, for more expression. It has been carefully made, and has style waiting to emerge. 13.5°. 2025-27 May 2018

the robe leans towards cream and vanilla. There is a toasty air, a rather weighty nose with latent fat in it. There is a hint of spiced banana. The palate is expressive, on a white peach, then aniseed later run. Has plenty of depth, will suit pork, soft cheese. Refined acidity lingers on the finish. It is a shade dumb, but has gras at its heart. Touch of SO2 on the aftertaste. 14°. To 2017  May 2013

mild, medium depth yellow, legs. The bouquet is fresh by design, brings forward elder, gooseberry, herbal tea airs, shows a lemon essence as well. The palate is essentially rich as it starts, with a build-up of quite thick flavouring, pear and mint, as it travels. The finish is clean and complete. It picks up a little tannin, has nice length and character. Drink with steamed fish, sauced chicken, for instance. 14°. €8.10. To 2017  May 2013

light, clear yellow robe; has a compact, nutty aroma – there is a quiet, wide authority to it, a good foundation within, some top floral airs. The palate`s attractive fruit rocks along with fresh abandon. Has a typical Lirac underlay and quiet ripeness to support it, and a gras or richness from its Clairette. The length is good; this can be drunk solo, but also enough body for food. 13.5°. “There are aromas of jasmine, verveine, hawthorn on the nose which we don`t find in the Marsanne-Roussanne wines,” Sévérine Lemoine. 13.5°. 2013-14 March 2009
