LVT 2014 r 2014 rosé Organic wines. Alain created the domaine in 1997 – his father had been a Co-operateur at Roaix, while he worked half with the Co-operative and half his own domaine. Alain also sold Renault cars. Christophe took over in 2007. They have worked a rented 3 hectares of Vinsobres since 2012. The 4 hectares of Roaix come from as many as 16 plots. First bottling was in 2000. The style is for genuine, sturdy wines.
LVT 2007 r 2006 rosé Promising mid-twenties grower. Father Guy Chave has been a long-time member of the Cave Co-operative at Roaix. In 2005 he gave his son Damien 10 hectares of vineyards to vinifiy for himself, while he remains at the Co-operative. Guy has 38 hectares at Roaix and 12 hectares at Séguret.
LVT 2018 r 2015 wh Olivier Tropet is a member of the Roaix-Séguret Co-operative, following in the footsteps of his grandparents. He sends three-quarters of his crop to the Cave, working with a bit over 5 hectares for his domaine. He made his first vin de pays in 2007, his first Roaix in 2008, and his first Rasteau in 2010. This is a very high quality address, led by notable fruit that is aided by a helpful altitude in the vineyards, which are now organic. A deliberately light touch is taken with vinifications of the reds, The 2015 Roaix l'atout du Pique red was detailed, fresh, very good as a ****(*) wine, while the 2015 Roaix l'atout du Pique white was a stylish **** wine. The 2018 Rasteau, 80% late 1970s Grenache, 20% young Mourvèdre, was a thorough. well grounded **** wine, the length aided by the Mourvèdre.
