shiny, full red robe; the bouquet has a soft air of blackberry, with sound inner filling, a notion of jam sweetness and dried herbs. The palate is a regular affair, gives a straightforward, direct run of mixed berry fruits with a little edge in the tannins, the aftertaste clear, but falling back. It lacks a point of confirmed richness, but is ready for grills, outdoor events. 14°. 2024-25 April 2021

2010 ()

red robe is becoming light. Spiced, cinnamon airs, peony, cooked plum, Grenache in its centre – the nose is wide. The palate continues the spice theme, with the fruit just on the turn as it ages. Has a raw tobacco finish, lacks the ease and charm that one wants from Côtes du Rhône. The aftertaste is burnt, too. €3.15 ex cellars. 13.5°. To 2016  June 2013
