pale, flinty colour; has a fresh, zesty nose – white fruits, roast hazelnuts. The palate is already settled, despite its youth and only 10 days in bottle: steady, reliable, sympa wine with nice late grip. OK to drink now. 2015-16 March 2009

2006 ()

soft yellow colour. Has a pretty nose; the top air is salty and tangy, rather citrus, and is supported by a gentle hazelnut, crème patisserie aroma with some apricot. There is acidity in the texture of the palate – this is sinewed and less round than the nose implies. Ends on a grippy, nutted aftertaste. The flavour is a little pear in nature. It tapers towards the finish, but drinks agreeably enough. Food will help it to expand and prolong the finish. As an aperitif, for instance with olives, it is OK. 13.5°. 2014. October 2008 Previously March 2007 *(*) zesty nose, some white flowers, quite rich underneath, overall is quite simple. Rich seam within the palate, pebbly stone fruit outside, length correct.
