70% Grenache blanc, 30% Viognier

glinty, pale yellow. Fresh, mandarin peel air that goes “snap”, has a small note of peach, white jam. The palate is honeyed, with a pear fruit and hazelnut flavour. Nice, simple, drinkable wine, very good value at US$10 (in Maine), is w.o.w. A light note of lime creeps in, and it ends on another mandarin burst. No demands wine, suited to chicken, cold turkey, salads, outdoor drinking, can also be a good aperitif. It tapers a tiny bit, but I recommend this. 13°. To 2014 July 2012
