red robe; the nose is rounded via the Viognier influence, rose, geranium, red boiled sweets or bonbons. The attack is good, off and running with joli continuity, a tasty second half which carries a glou-glou succulence. The Viognier renders the texture suave, and it ends on lip smacking notes, is a pleaser, suited to lamb dishes. Part bottled Dec 2018, part bottled today. To 2022 May 2019
