steady red robe. Has an ink, squid style, pulp aroma, black cherry at its heart: it holds OK. The palate delivers a cherry stone flavour, licorice, blackberry mixed in. The tannins have a chalky, pingy quality, are very breezy. It’s coherent between nose and palate, is tucked in for now, can emerge from around spring 2020 onwards. 13°. 1,000 b. €16.50. 2028-30 Dec 2018
