attractive yellow; spice-pepper first nose – white stone fruits, flan – it certainly is inviting, with some crispness very helpful. The palate is agreeably full, comes with steady gras richness, the balance is good, and the texture rounded to the finish where it grips quietly, is long. Good poise – it is an ensemble. Good early drinking. 2015-15 July 2010
yellow robe; buttery-lime, vanilla-toast aroma, comes with spice and minor levels of exotic fruits, and an interesting mix of white truffle and honey. The palate is full and consistent in its delivery of dried fruit flavours, with a late tang of Marsanne grip. This is a wine for food. The fruit is ripe, and this lasts nicely. It is good now, with the finish sympa, shows wee gras there. A touch low on its acidity. w.o.w. wine. 12.5°. To 2011. March 2009
apricot/spice, full bouquet. Chewy, full palate - honey/spice. Clean mineral end. More honey flavour than usual. Sound wine.
faint honey, banana aroma; fair content, quiet amount here. Length OK. Needs time. 2009-10
light white fruit bouquet, apricots and butterscotch; fat opening, then becomes more mineral and tangy near the finish.
