2019 ()

1) (100% from Ozon, new 300-litre cask) **** yellow hue; has a soft peach air, a rather alert nose. The palate is well defined, carries nice low-key energy, is very continuous, has stuffing, lengthens well, is good, more loose-limbed than 2018, digestible. “It’s fine, elegant”, Sylvain Gauthier. To 2025 2) (Lussas, used 228-litre cask) *** yellow robe; floral airs float on an airborne nose, with good ping in it. The palate is light, up in the air, ends in a low-key manner, is a bit soft, though still has some sugar to ferment 3) (Lussas, new 300-litre cask) ***(*) yellow colour; honey, stewed fruits or compote air, apricot. The length is steady, with gras on the close, is marked and freshened by carbonic gas. To 2025 Feb 2020

2018 ()

fine yellow; has a gentle air on the bouquet, butter, pear, peach, quince, , dried fruits, a touch of oak, nicely precise it is. The palate is an easy roll affair, gentle, soft and textured. It’s calm and continuous with a touch of late assertion, intensity. The bouquet is airborne, the palate more grounded. It’s joli, charming. There are white fruits, pear, white peach in a nicely fluid, touch of oaked close. 14°. 5,000 b. To 2024 Feb 2020

2015

ample yellow colour. The nose is broad and imposing, cooked lemon, ripe apricot in the frame, a sense of papaya and raw tobacco. The palate is thick, wide, really sealed together in a capsule of cooked white fruits, and a grapey assertion, the finish lined with some firm tannin and toffee from the oak. This stands firmly on the ground, requires decanting, and plenty of air. From mid-late 2018 there will also be more movement, with a lean towards exotic fruits and more ebullience on the cards. It’s a strongly fuelled wine. 14°. €11.50 export. 100% Roussanne. 2024-26 Oct 2016
