gold traces in the yellow, legs down the glass. Light aroma of baked pear, also wisps of apple, brown sugar adding weight. The palate is orderly – today, with low pressure outside it is reserved. There is intrinsic heart and a typical Marsanne tightening and grip as it travels. It ends solidly, just a bit austere there. Decant this. 13.5°. To 2012. Dec 2008

scented white fruits on bouquet, as if Roussanne present for uplift. Buttery, rounded start, here comes the Marsanne fatness. Broad wine for food, quite pretty, has some grip and length.

honey nose; pear fruit, nice tight end, oak touch.
