2014 ()

fine red robe. The nose has a red cherry air with an implant of sweetness – it is mild, not varied, facile. The palate gives easy, quiet red fruits. This is light wine, very soft tannins, lacks much scope or structure. It is easy to drink, unmemorable. 14°. To 2019 June 2016

2012 ()

(vat) dark red; freesia, aromatic top note adds to a rather graceful black jam, blueberry fruit aroma, has a stylish manner – it is young and promising. The palate offers gourmand, sweet-tinged, fat fruit on the attack. It is round, even plump, its tannins are spherical with a little grounding, grunt factor, extra depth at the end. Steady, above average quality. It finishes roundly, fully, well. From mid-2014. Drink with strong flavours such as beef. 14°. €3.20 export. To 2018.  Oct 2013

2011 ()

(vat) medium depth red; savoury, round, red plum fruit aroma with a good bundle of herbs, pepper and thyme. The palate has a supple, rather gourmand start; at first it bears bonny fruit in the here and now, while mild tannins bring up the rear. The fruit has an edge, a touch of tautness to it, though, so there are one or two doubts. The length is OK, the end peppery. 2017-18  Sept 2012

2 bottles tasted, neither right. 1st bottle: dusty, grainy black-fruited, ends on dry notes, lacks fruit carry. 2nd bottle: flat aroma, palate is burnt, arid, finish disagreeable. 14°. June 2013
