shiny, dark robe. The nose has a tarry aspect, presents a brewed black fruits and ripe overhang, licorice and some smoke. The palate holds plenty of black fruit with an oak insert that prevails on the second half, with some cellar exertion there bringing in tar. For now, it’s rather stiff, but there is the body to allow it to ease. Decanting an option. 14°. €11. From spring 2017. 2020-21 June 2016
