2014 ()

very rich, lustrous gold colour. Ripe grapes, oily essence, suggestions of guava show on the nose, with a note of licorice. The palate is rich, fluid, caresses with its smooth texture. It revives a brioche, grapey display on the finish, with a leaning towards exotic fruits there. There is a little late acidity to help the finish’s lift, and a touch of tannin on the sign-off. A pretty sturdy wine for la table: classic French cuisine based on butter, or Asian and north African dishes as well, before cheese. 14°. To 2019  June 2016
