dark, shiny red colour. The nose has a soaked cherries aroma, with reduction, so it needs air or a good sake in the glass. There is an inner sweetness. The palate presents a broad front of black cherry-toffee flavour with a little grain tannin. It’s rather plain, low in variety and individuality, is “OK”. It can be drunk now, with roast meats. There is a note of black olives, black jam, on the aftertaste. 14.5°. €5.13. GB Mentzendorff. To 2021 Sept 2017
