2014 ()

(vat) quite dark red; soft, slightly sweet sweep of black fruit across the nose, a spiky mineral and rosemary hint as well. The palate carries crisp dark red berry fruit, with a tingle and a tang emerging towards the finish. Upright, slim, can gain roundness, is a fresh style of wine, a bit limited. 13.7°. 60% Gren, 38% Syr, 2% Mourv. From mid-2016. 2021-22 Apr 2015

2013

(vat) quite a full red robe; the nose is soft, led by a plump air of red garden fruit such as strawberry, comes with jam-like features. The palate centres on similar red berry fruit, with a small detail of tannin towards the close. The fruit and the wine aren’t as clear-cut as the best. Country foods suited. 13.5°. From 2016. 2020-21  Apr 2015
