2015 ()

shiny, dark robe. The bouquet has potential grace via its black berry fruit, comes with a neat ripeness, and isn’t yet fully out and about; there’s a hint of red meat. The palate is also reserved, bears plum fruits, raspberry, with a fine line of tannin adding some late, mild crunch. 13°. 5,000 b. From spring 2017. 2022-23 Oct 2016

2013 ()

(casks/vat) dark robe, is becoming matt in tone. The nose is round, not clearly defined, has a brewed fruit nature, is a bit on reduction. The palate is plain, lacks the cut and thrust of the better wines, is rather laden. This wanders along, lacks lift. 12.5°. 6,000 b. Now to 2018  Jan 2015

2012 ()

(casks/vat) quite a dark red; oak-fronted, grilled air, black cherry fruit behind -  the bouquet isn’t copious. The palate is a mix of decent black cherry fruit and oaking, the latter the main late play. The palate beats the nose. From spring 2014. 13°. To 2017  Nov 2013


slightly sweet, grainy black stone/raspberry fruit aroma. Mid-plus weight, prune style fruit with dry border. Tannins bit stark. Uneven. Softer by 2006, narrow drinking window, though. Part maceration carbonique fermentation. To 2008
