bright pink, wee red traces. Curious, unusual nose that is inky, pulpy, high, gives a bit of pong. The palate has a note of degradation in the fruit, an off, high aspect as if the walls are crumbling. Food the only option. 14°. Bottled Feb 2012 – so that may be the post-bottling blues. Hope so. 2009

bright salmon pink; Grenache-typical nose that is pretty, fine, runs across the glass – there is mineral inside the redcurrant. The palate gets right in there, holds plenty of fruit, red cherry and runs freely. Has a good, clipped finish, no droop. Is OK as an aperitif (just, since I reckon it is 14.8°), but food better. 14.5° on label. Oct 2010
