black-mauve robe. There’s attractive clear fruit with a hint of reduction on the nose, blackberry with a stylish neat centre, blueberry also. The palate holds good grain, live fruit, an appealing issue of black cherry fruit, the fruit cool and pure. It has verve, and there’s a touch of control from the Marselan on the close, that vegetal touch helpful.
