NOT PRODUCED – COULURE HIT THE HARVEST

2016

dark red; glinting blackberry fruit that is slightly plush, on a pastilles trail, but manages to be up OK, has a hint of musky floral. The palate has a tight noose of black berry with squeezy tannins, an easy texture, powdered notes towards the finish, a hint of raspberry liqueur also. The finish is a bit out on its own – the fruit backs away. It doesn’t give real free drinking, but will be OK with red meats. There’s touch of black olives on the aftertaste. “I regret it’s not longer,” Philippe Bravay. 14°. To 2025 Oct 2019

2015 ()

dark red; mineral lurks in with black fruit, prune in an inky bouquet. The palate has a cool fringe, live tannins, direction, some oak on the close. It has less fat, is less together than the 2016, but carries more interest. The finish has kick, intense black juice and oak. 14°. 2,400 b. 2024-25 Oct 2019

2014 ()

dark red; mulberry liqueur, smoky cassis de Dijon airs on a nicely evolving nose, has mineral touches. The palate gives cosy fruit, flows smoothly, inkspots, ends on blue fruit, nice detail here and there. There’s good, joli fruit within, the style precise, fine, has black olives, herbs touches. It moves well. 14°. 2022-23 Oct 2019

2013 ()

sturdy dark red colour. The nose combines good depth of dark berry fruit with a salted, peppery lift. The palate attacks well, with vigour, and this has plenty of body for la table. There is freedom in its raspberry-blueberry fruit, and it moves well. Enjoyable, has character. 13°. 2020-21  Oct 2015

2012

(vat) dark red, some black tints. The nose is attractive, has sound spread and depth, and also shows Syrah influence, black fruits and cherries. The palate sets off on a blueberry fruit trail, has a lucid, cool aspect, good delineation; it runs, flows well to a clear, light gras bearing finale. A small pocket of tannin closes it. This has decent style. 13°. Bottling Feb 2014. €9.00 at the cellars. To 2018  Oct 2013
