70% Grenache, 30% Syrah from galet stone covered clay-limestone soils, machine harvested, destemmed, 30 day vinification, pumping overs, concrete vat raised, “drink with red meats, sauced dishes, stews, cheese”


dark red robe, slightly sombre hue. The nose gives Grenache plums with spice, chicken stock, entrails airs, is a hearty, unbridled opening. The palate bears spicy content that runs steadily, picks up cloves, vegetal notes towards the slightly chewy finish. It does most of its work early on the palate. This is traditional Rasteau, heartlands wine, to go with stews, casseroles, game. 14.5°. 2027-29 Mar 2019
