bright yellow, some green glints. The nose carries a pear, grapey, nicely local oily aspect; there’s a hint of salt and ginger that lift it. The palate has a smooth, assured feel, is graceful, measured, not showy. It will open and expand as it ages in bottle. The texture is a winner here. The flavour for now is on pear, white plum, grapiness. It has gentle qualities that have been encouraged by the Roussanne.. 14°. 50% Rouss, 25% Vio, 25% Clairette. From mid-2018. 2022-23 Feb 2018
