Grenache, Cinsault from sandy soils, organic wine

medium depth red robe, not surprising given Grenache and Cinsault. The bouquet is forward, attractive, filled with raspberry fruit and a refined sweetness, a scented touch. After a pretty attack, the palate is spicy, engaging, gives a red berry flavour before a little knot of tannin thickens it and draws it together, dries it a touch. This is good barbecue and table wine for a variety of dishes, with its floral notes combining well with the raspberry fruit at its centre. The finish is lip smacking. It’s an authentic Southern Rhône red. 13.5°. 2022 July 2020
