100% Clairette (1963) from 0.27 hectare on sandy, marl-limestone soils next to the chapel of Saint Cosme, fermented 1 year 228-litre oak casks 5-6 weeks at up to 18°C, raised 8 months, malo blocked, 600 b

fine yellow; the nose gives a ginger, oaked aroma, with liquid honey, infused herbal tea notes. The palate is rather splendid, right away, carries an elegant run of white fruits with pedigree feel, the silk of the flow a real good card. This channels well into a precise finish, with a salted spot of energy there, a little southern chew, deftly presented. It’s discreetly complex, well assembled. 13°. 2030-32  Feb 2020

(bottling June 2015) yellow robe. The nose is sprightly, lifted by its oak and its bright, young fruit. The oak adds a peppery touch, and there is licorice also present. This has a direct, loose debut, glides along nicely, bears enjoyable liquid gras, gives the drinker a real caress. The oak is quite prominent, but the wine is an ensemble. The length is delicate. “Drink this solo, or with Mediterranean fish, Bouillabaisse,” Louis Barruol. 12.5°. 2025-26  Apr 2015

sound yellow. Nicely aromatic, precise bouquet – the fruit is well-cut. This is going well now, is up for the aperitif thanks to a good mix of body and freshness. Lengthens well, ends clearly. Can develop a second, more food-related stage. 2018-19  Aug 2013

mid-depth yellow. Lovely, mixed nose, licorice, strong fennel, white fruits. The palate has an easy flow of fruit, white jam, followed by aniseed, a good final grip. Good, and above average for the year. 12.5°. 2015-16  May 2013

mild yellow colour; dried fruits, honey and hazelnut aroma with a lift from acacia, floral influences. The hazelnut resembles Marsanne from the northern Rhône. White fruits, banana flavour followed by oak and flan. The oak lends a pineapple taste on the finish. Has a rich but effortless ending. It goes well with a cèpes or wild mushrooms and black truffles in rice dish – that brings out its fresher side. Above its category. 2013-15 March 2009
