tangerine, honey air. Fat, rather imposing palate that gains a close-knit, slightly burnt side. Heat is incipient here. Ends solidly, shows oak there, but also gras. “I would eat grilled fish or serve this as the aperitif,” Johann Michel. I would try sauced white meats. To 2012. Dec 2009

NV/2007 ()

mild, pale yellow robe; has a baked green apple aroma, with a spiced top. An apple theme runs on the palate – brown sugar and baked apple, with some pear sweets tang. It ends firmly, has pretty, slightly sweet flavour. Serve this cool. To 2015. Lees not stirred, malo blocked this year. Dec 2008


honeyed, slightly lactic aroma – there is beeswax ahead of some honey-chocolate (Fry`s Crunchie Bar) and white raisin aromas. The palate is tight-knit, is woven and compressed, rather in on itself. The flavour is honeyed, the length OK. There is a little late power, but not excessive. To 2016 June 2008 Previously * although no year on the label: honeyed, rather weighty nose.
