pale yellow, creamy robe; Has a pear-fruited, rather opulent nose, apricot juice apparent, has a buttery depth, touches of musky honeysuckle. The palate bears a flavour of dried white fruits, tang in the flavour, has marked glow, strength, is a wine for la table. The close is firm. There is light citrus-orange on the debut, while the second half is more on power than the start. It’s a bit on its degree, and isn’t really all in tune. 2025-26 Oct 2019
