fine red-tinted robe, shiny, has a coral hue as well. The nose is interesting, nice and wide, with admirably clear strawberry fruit, bingo! Its sweetness is refined. Lirorice and dried thyme also show up. This has a frisky, fresh attack – redcurrants with soft gras richness, and a good extension of that into a rounded, supple finale, further drops of sweetness there. This hits the pleasure button, is a w.o.w. rosé for the aperitif, cold meats, cod brandade, spaghetti carbonara or vongole (clams). It’s refined, polished rosé. 13°. To late 2018 Sept 2017
