2014

dark robe. Has a prominent blackberry aroma with an underlying sweetness, coulis fruits, also licorice. The palate is comfortably deep, glides along with open fruit, a small spicing, with crunch in its dark finale – it is firm there. This has the structure to be drunk à table, over solo. The aftertaste is peppery. It barks loudly on the finish. Drink with red meats. Bottled Sept 2015. €7. To 2021  Dec 2015

2010

(vat) bright purple robe. Good steady beat to the nose – there is refinement in the black cherry air. Interesting, immediate dash of black fruit on the palate, good vigour in it. Has a licorice tang, lengthens well, has life in it. Very drinkable, a w.o.w. wine. There are some good grainy tannins at the end, the wine is fresh. To be bottled early May. Much above its status. To 2017. March 2011
