60% Grenache (mid-1960s), 40% Syrah (early 1980s), hand harvested, mostly destemmed, 2-3 week vinification, some pumping overs, part vat emptying/refilling, very low sulphur use, raised concrete vat 8 months, unfined, filtered, 80,000 b


some black in the red robe; has a brewed, rather gummy aroma, with herbs and local airs – it is pretty. The palate holds elegant fruit and continues well, ending roundly with a spot of tannin there. This works well as a wine for drinking young, and also solo. w.o.w. wine. To 2011. June 2008


very primary aroma, with lurking reduction, and sappy, soaked fruits. The palate shows raspberry fruit that is quite elegant, has a correct Visan style – is direct without being great substance or assertion; some late roundness in the texture. To 2011. March 2007
