quite a bright red. There is a big stream of pepper and also clove on the bouquet, a red fruit coulis air. The palate is also very peppery, with a supple heart. It is a bit low on style, flair. It ends on pepper. There are red fruits with some supple texture, but the tannins have a dry side. 13.5°. To 2019 Sept 2016

bonny robe of quite dark red; has a broad, red berry aroma with a rich air, and a little ripe, touch meaty note as well – has spring in its step. The palate fruit is rounded, the texture just on the oily side – is agreeable for that. Has character and local appeal, provides measured, quite fleshy drinking. Is in good shape now. Carries a few late tannins that bring along some black pepper late in the day. A wine of good flow, true to its category – very sound. w.o.w. wine. 14°. 2010-11 Nov 2007
