attractive, quite dark red robe; there’s a gentle floral top note to the bouquet, raspberry coulis present as it were, a hint of licorice. The palate is close-knit on the attack, a fresh line along it. It was bottled just three weeks ago, which can explain this tightness. There is good tingle in the red fruit. It’s still in its shell, has structure, will come along well. The length is sound; pepper-powder tannin accumulates at the end. Decant it early in its life. 12.5°. To 2022 May 2019
