2014 ()

dark, sustained robe. The bouquet is broad, filled, issues a strong air of blackcurrant, with basil, pesto, licorice and black cherry liqueur additions. It is deliberately up-tempo from its handling. The palate drinks in savoury fashion, has a simmered black fruits presence, blueberry prominent. This is a little scaled up, but has sound heart, and the tannins fit in. 14.5°. €9 at the cellars.
