2009 ()

pear skin, off yellow colour; apple, brown sugar aroma that is already in a mature state – it runs on power over freshness, has airs of varnish here, too. A spice and notably pepper imprint runs through the cooked white fruits richness (gras), ending on a spiced apple flavour. I am not sure about this – it is not really convincing, and tapers towards the finish, is a shade rustic. To 2014. July 2010

2007 ()

steady yellow robe; liquid honey, somewhat earthy nose, a little SO2 – the aroma holds steady. The palate has a quiet bitter note, and there is a faithful Marsanne presence in its gras, nothing overdone. It tapers towards the finish, but is fine. Food best for this - cold chicken, salads for instance. 13°. To 2011. March 2009
