shiny dark red. There is an aroma of blackberry jelly on the front nose, with some mystery beyond that, an implication of coffee and blueberry. It is young and pretty calm. The palate cruises along with black stone fruits, a little soaked in style, present and flexible tannins that fit in and help to curve it. It is a plump style of Rasteau, good with lamb. It gives freely. There is a wee spot of clarity on the finish. 14°. 6,300 b. 50% Gren, 30% Mourv, 20% Syr. From 2017. 2023-24 May 2016
