clear, appealing dark red colour. The nose fronts up with blackberry, a hint of iron, grilled beef. It has hidden pockets, has more to come. The palate holds together well, is lined with sturdy, thorough red fruited content, develops some extra dimension towards the finish. It has the structure to evolve and interest. 14.5°. 65% Gren, 20% Syr, 15% Carignan. All vat raised. From spring 2020. 2028-30  May 2019

2015

plum red robe. Has a smoky, intense bouquet that lines up loganberry, an oily raspberry liqueur aroma, some snappy nuttiness. The palate delivers a coated, suave run of brisk, darkly spiced black berry fruits, has gusto, a liberal charge, before a tarry close, where oak plays a role. It’s a little clipped along the sides, but will be fine with a beef dish, for example. The finish lacks fruit, is sudden, and it’s a bit technical, but there is vigour. 14°. To 2020 Dec 2017

Grenache plum red colour; the bouquet is well channelled, presents a direct, smoky aroma with cherry fruit at its centre. There is a sleek air of licorice as well. The palate runs with liberal dark fruits – they have a gourmand quality, a tasty appeal. This is w.o.w. Lirac - it is enjoyably broad, its fruit foremost. It is showing well now, is ideal for grills, barbecues, sausages. 14°. 20,000 b. To 2019 Feb 2016
