pink robe; the bouquet is discreet, but steady, lines up red cherry fruit airs, a note of white strawberry. The palate drinks easily, with some pinpoint red fruits and a neat precision along its way, a quiet freshness. The length is good. It’s right on the button now, suited to hors d’oeuvres. 13.5°. €5.55 at the cellars. To spring 2021 Oct 2020

2014

opaque pink, orange tints in the robe. The nose has a serene scenting, a joli delivery of soft fruit, a little quince. It drinks well now, has a little sweetness, and the floral side comes through again on the finish. 13.5°. To mid-2016 Jun 2015

the pink colour is offset by some onion skin-orange. Has an elderflower, floral air that is attractive and appealing – there is a subdued note of vanilla, a salty snap. The palate is easy going, based on quince, with a lime, hazelnut later showing. Sound freshness here. It is a touch arm’s length, but OK. To mid-2014. 13.5°.  May 2013
