2009 ()

(vat) good, full robe. Oily, liqueur nose, violet airs. Ripe black fruit style – not quite plush, but in that vein. Round, savoury finale. More to sip than drink – food a must. To 2016. 60% G, 30% M, 10% S this year. March 2011

2006

magenta-red, pretty robe. Subdued, red plum aroma that comes with a lacing of sweet tea, slightly scented overall. Soft red fruits on the palate, which is ready now, led by Grenache. Has a late prickle of pebbly tannins. Nice local character. Touch dry on finish – food best. 2010-11 Feb 2009
