dark red robe, full. The bouquet is well lined with blackberry fruit, has the 2016 vintage inner sweetness, a soaking of the fruits. There’s a note of licorice. The palate carries abundant, rolling, vivid cherry fruiting, really gathers good momentum and finishes splendidly, on an up wave, its tannins well sealed within, a note of black olives and slight tar from them on the aftertaste. This has captured the amazing vivacity of the fruit of the year well. 2027-28 Oct 2018

dark red colour. The nose is a good ensemble of fine raspberry fruit and bright, ripe plum, a little rose-hip. The palate is also finely tuned, with agreeable red fruits and a tuck in of late grain tannin. This is authentic, well presented Côtes, which ends freshly, with bonny content as it closes. It has discreet inner strength. 14°. 420,000 b. 70% Gren, 30% Syr. 2020-21 June 2016
