80% Grenache, 20% Syrah from Roquemaure, fermented in concrete vat by saignée or bleeding juice off the skins over 3 weeks at 14-16°C, raised 6-7 months on fine lees, malo blocked


pale pink. Very low fermentation aroma here – candy, bonbon, with light redcurrant – it is an escapist bouquet. The palate has a perfumato topping throughout; the flavour resembles strawberry, red cherry, shows a glow of power and heat on the finish. It is all over quickly. To mid-2014. 13.5°.  May 2013
