dark red. The nose gives a brothy air of crushed raspberry, has a sweet signature. This does more on the attack than the finish: its red berry fruit is fleeting, with a backlog of rather dry tannins. There are grilled aspects to the palate. It may just have been bottled, but on this showing it’s unconvincing. 13.5°. 45,000 b. 80% Gren, 20% Syr. To 2019. June 2016
