pale but clear red; attractive bouquet – fine red fruit aroma that is pure, young, shows a touch of nuttiness. The palate also reflects clear, slightly peppered fruit whose clarity is appealing – this travels along with a refined way about it, also has a bit of class. Good Grenache display here – drink from mid-2010 to catch this pretty purity. Fine, w.o.w. wine. 2014-15 Dec 2009

mild red. Reductive, funky leaning to the nose – brittle red berry aroma, neutral air. Sweet, ephemeral style wine, light fruit that is sugary, lacks depth and foundation. Thin, poor. 13.5°. To 2012. Dec 2009 Previously Nov 2008 (*) quite dark, some matt in the robe; has a fresh, primary nose – live raspberry, but it is fleeting and not established. The palate is also limited, and not expressive under today`s low pressure and rainy conditions. The concern is that it doesn`t seem to be profound, and in this vintage should have more depth. The nose and the palate are limited. Ends in a curly way, and lacks real freshness. To 2013. Nov 2008

dark red-black robe. Oily, mulled, soaked black cherries aroma, sweet tea with rosemary, a little lamb stock. The palate is fleshy, has tannic backing so keeps a sense of purpose. Sound grip late on, but fades a little fruit-wise. There is herbal sweetness in this, is a modest, mild, simple Grenache. 14.5°. 2016-17 Nov 2008 Previously Jan 2008 *** red plum robe; sweet wild strawberry aroma, with some life in it – it persists quite broadly, is smoky and a little herbal. The wine has good heart, with a wholesome centre, bears rich and pretty herbal fruits. It carries good momentum though to the end, where some red fruit stays. Correct balance, from 2009. 2016-18 Jan 2008

bright, quite dark red robe; red cherry, slightly smoky, nutted nose with some pure Grenache in the air, inside it. The palate has pretty fruit on the start, then its texture becomes grainy and just a little lean for now. It is quite a true wine without make-up, and it reflects the vintage via its upright shape. 2010-11 Dec 2006

1st bottle corked; 2nd bottle: soaked, southern nose that is sappy and bears some alcohol. Gourmand, drenched black fruit on the palate – comes across ripely. Length is fair. Quite a gutsy wine. 2007 on. 2012-13 July 2005
