mild red fruit aroma, with some jam present, and blackcurrant leaf. Soft fruit start to the palate, then a late vegetal-spiced tone, and some late jam in the flavour. OK. Jan 2008

2006 ()

quite a full red robe; jam aroma – redcurrant, mulberry with a little nutty air, too. Soft red fruits start the palate - a wine with easy access, runs openly and gently. Has a wispy, but quietly assured length – this goes down nicely. Drink as an aperitif or with softly flavoured foods. 2009-10 Jan 2008

2001 ()

lightly simmered red fruit, smoke, some charm on bouquet. Clear flavour, good friendly fruit, charm - nothing overdone. Length OK, tidy wine. March 2004
