clear pink robe; Has a rather sultry, beckoning bouquet that presents red berry fruit with reserve, as if there is more to come, via a mix of air and time. It’s quietly deep, and broad. This is grounded, for la table, covers the palate with a criss-cross of red cherry flavour with a note of iodine freshness. It’s a manly Tavel for full flavoured Provençal dishes, but also has an intricacy that renders it interesting. It can be decanted. The aftertaste is solid, secure, and the good fruit has a spring in its step. 14°. 2021 Jul 2018

handsome, arresting bright red robe. The bouquet indeed shows the calm depth of mature vines fruit via a compote of red berries, a hint of reduction. It has the depth of a red wine, and comes with hints of herbes de Provence. This glides along well on the palate, is set up by juicy and plump richness with a cosy ball of flavour, red fruits, redcurrants to the fore. The finish is squeezy and quietly solid, the aftertaste salted. This is true Tavel, bingo with Provençal dishes, stylish and long. It is a high class table rosé. 14°. 4,000 b. 60% Gren, 30% Cins, 10% Syr. €5.90 export. To 2022 May 2017

pink robe, some red tints. Has an alert, salted, redcurrant aroma, with straw and herbs, thyme adding intrigue and variety. The palate delivers crushed red cherries, redcurrant flavours, holds nice acidity, good inner gras richness. This poise, and gives a clear, precise run on the finish. “It is quite delicate, but has concentration,” Michel Tardieu. 14°. 2019-20  July 2016
