yellow robe. Has a comfortable, wide, pear-apricot aroma, dried fruits, greengage. This is supple, nicely generous, with good, simmered length – it goes well to the line. The flavour centres on apricot, nectarine, Mirabelle plum. There is some oak fleshiness, and it holds fine acidity. The finale is tight. This has structure. Decant it. 13.5°. From mid-2017. 2025-26 July 2016

yellow robe, legs. Notably oaked, spiced first air, with mandarin, citrus touches – this bouquet is pumped up, has a note of white raisin. The palate is tight, tough, more on its oak raising than simpatico fruit. The question here is its evolution – to absorb its oak, and loosen, offer pleasure. Gras is present, even if it is compressed now. From spring 2014. decant this. The finale brings along mint tea, butterscotch. A bit torrid and burnt, exerted now. 2018-19 €6.50 export. Oct 2012
