2018 ()

shiny, full red robe, a good aspect; the bouquet is just starting out, has a sure, discreet cherry fruit and raspberry centre, with notions of dried herbs and iodine around it. It promises to be stylish. The palate bears bright red berry, raspberry fruit with fine tannins that add a little grain to the late texture. This has a good platform for the future, is well made and the fruit appeals via its clear strokes. There’s local authenticity from late herbs, thyme. 15°. From spring 2021. 2027-29 Sept 2020
