full red; charcoal, resin, pine cluster on the front of the bouquet, spice and plums within. The palate is assertive, a bit stretched, shows cellar effort. It’s spiced, carries red stone fruit flavours, the tannins on the robust side. The second half is a swirl of unfinished business with a dry surge in it, making it hard work at present.
