2015 ()

mild red robe, accentuates the Grenache. The nose is softly sweet, centres on strawberry jam fruit with a note of plum. The palate feels handled to be soft and easy rather than anything more interesting and backward. There is an easy, spiced fill of red berry fruit and gummy tannins on the close. The sweetness is evident also along the palate. It’s a mainstream wine. 14.5°. 70% Gren, 30% Mourv. 30,000 b. €3.56 export. 2019-20 March 2017

2012 ()

(vat) shiny dark red; close-knit, promising bouquet which holds good, deep-set raspberry fruit at its centre, is still young, has baked notes and isn’t yet varied. This is curvy, rolling, generous on the attack, takes its time on amore withdrawn finish, needs leaving until autumn 2014. It is shaping up well; its fruit is expressive and clean, has a good integration of fruit and tannin, the fruit classy, the length successful. 13.5°. €2.67 ex cellars. 2018-19  Oct 2013
