(vat) dark red robe. The nose has a shiny quality, led by soaked black cherries with a dusting of herbes de Provence. The palate gives a good, instant burst of black fruits, blackberries with a sweet inlay. This is easy to drink and appreciate. It tones down on the finish thanks to some fine grain tannins, a light sprinkle of them. 14.5°. 28,000 b. Cairanne Villages wine. 60% Gren, 40% Syr. From spring 2017. 2022-23  May 2016


dark red. The bouquet is reserved, gives a brewed notion, has a filling of dark berry fruit, has a sunny, potentially obvious bulge to it. The palate is fleshy early on, similar to the nose; it carries sound levels of fruit and the tannins are well absorbed. Very sound Cairanne, though there are no bells and whistles to enliven matters.
