2015 ()

(vat/casks) full plum red colour. The nose gives a curvy air of mild blackberry, a little cassis, some dried, mixed herbes de Provence, a coulis of raspberry brightening it. This drinks enjoyable, right from the off, has a tasty black fruit centre with some keen, largely fresh tannins after half way. The length is steady. It gives good, no nonsense drinking, with a mix of savoury content and bright fruit. It’s close to w.o.w. wine, will drink well with grills, steak. 15°. 14,000 b. 75% Gren, 15% Syr, 10% Mourv. To 2020 Sept 2016

2014 ()

(vat) dark red robe. The nose gives streamlined dark berry, cassis fruit with a note of tea leaves, an extra darkness. The palate goes in a direct manner, the fruit clear, the tannins still young. The fruit is clear-cut. It needs until 2017 to come together and also to gain increased flesh. The finish is powerful for now. 14.5°. 70% Gren, 20% Syr, 10% Mourv. 100% concrete raising. 2021-22  Oct 2015

2012

quite a dark plum red, typical Grenache colour. Fresh, slightly grilled top air, leaves a small berried fruit aroma behind with some strong licorice. This has a local air. The palate has juiced, round start, then moves into darker zones, carries enclosed, smooth tannins, ending with a good round curve. Well packaged, modern, close to ready. From mid-2014, so it can fuse its late graininess. There is good mid-palate fruit here, nice and wavy, while it tones down on a calm finish. 15°. €3.30 ex cellars. To 2018  Oct 2013
